Mumbai. Apple is going to open its first retail store in BKC in Mumbai soon. It is their official retail store in India and is considered to be Apple's biggest step in South Asia. Apple has also released a photo related to its first retail store in India. Interestingly, Apple is going to open its first retail store in India in the financial capital of Mumbai. The Apple store will open in Jio World Mall. But the exact date on which this store will be launched has not been given by Apple.
Retail store very attractive
Apple's retail store will be launched at BKC's Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai in the coming days. The design of the store looks very attractive and beautiful. The opening of this store will also encourage the Central Government's 'Make in India' scheme. As this store will be launched in the capital Mumbai, it will be the center of attraction for the entire Mumbaikars. The Apple Store will be launched in Mukesh Ambani's Jio World Mall in Mumbai. Apple is already manufacturing its products in India. Also the middle class-new middle class in India is fast moving towards buying Apple products. In this way, both Indian smartphone users and computer users are the center of attraction for Apple. Keeping this in mind, Apple is expanding its stores in India.
Capturing the market not a cakewalk
Apple is going to have a tough competition as the number of smartphones in India is already high. Although Apple's brand is attractive in India, the number of users of budget smartphones is high. So Apple will have to compete with their prices. After negotiations with the Indian government, Apple will open its first retail store in India. Apple has to pay attention to domestic supply chain factors while coming here and setting up business. Therefore, 30 percent of their total business suppliers will have to be from India. This will benefit the small businessmen of the country. Along with this, employment in the country will also get a boost. So this is being considered as an important step in the campaign of Make in India.
Opening of Apple Stores in other locations in India as well
Currently, Apple has decided to open a retail store only in Mumbai, but it is keen to open its Apple stores in other cities in India. After Mumbai, Apple is keen to open its second retail store in the national capital, Delhi. The store will be smaller than BKC's Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. For that, Apple CEO Tom Cook can come to India and attend the opening of the store. Some ministers from the Union Cabinet of India are also likely to be present with him. From the last one or two years, Apple had started efforts to move its stores from China to India and South Asian countries. Due to the continuous efforts of Apple for the past many years, the first Apple Store is going to open in India. So this is being considered as the biggest step in South Asia.
